Introduction
My name is Agnes von Witzleben, self-declared cosmopolitan globalist, opportunistic archivist, and trespasser in other people's mythologies.
I collect the stories that never made it onto the official plaques: émigré ghosts in rent-controlled apartments, drowned villages beneath city parks, vanished cinemas, improvised micro-museums in side streets and shuttered shopfronts. Berlin Footnote is where we activate and deactivate portals, turning the city itself into a medium where coordinates become sentences, detours become editors, and each walk is an invitation to expose buried myths, contested histories, and small acts of resistance.

What this is
Berlin Footnote is not a neutral city tour. It is a guided dérive with maps, ghosts, and paperwork:
- an audio walk that triggers in specific streets and corners of Berlin
- a podcast that moves between archive, anecdote, and the lives behind the places on our route.
- a micro-museum in waiting, assembling works, documents, and ephemera linked to our locality, its legends, and its neighbors.
Some of what you will hear is meticulously researched.
Some of it is gossip in passing.

TX001 pilot walk: Sunday, 13 September at 11:00, meeting at S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg for 90 minutes. TX002: Sunday, 18 October, beginning at Walter-Benjamin-Platz for two hours. Reservations are open.
Gustav Speaks
Give Gustav your birth date, time and city. He consults the Berlin sky and issues one personal omen a day. Agnes disputes his authority.
High Council
Some footnotes require a sealed room. Every paid Berlin Footnote patron receives a High Council invitation: with access to route drafts, research, the live atlas and room to contribute a story, a source or a photograph.
